Hexatronic Cables & Interconnect Systems, the Hexatronic Group company that runs our flagship cable production facility in Hudiksvall, Sweden, holds an EcoVadis Gold Medal for the third year in a row. The score climbed from 79 to 83.

What a gold medal means
EcoVadis ranks among the world's leading sustainability rating platforms. It assesses companies on environmental performance, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Only the top 5 percent of companies assessed in the 12 months before the medal issue date reach gold, so the result says something about the quality of the sustainability management system behind it, not only about a single year's performance.
A silver rating from JAC as well
Hexatronic Cables & Interconnect Systems also holds a silver rating from JAC, Joint Alliance for CSR, following an independent audit. JAC brings together some of the world's largest telecom operators to verify, assess, and develop how sustainability and corporate social responsibility work across their multinational suppliers. JAC auditors visit the site, and every member of the association then sees the same verified result.
Why this matters to our customers
Network owners and operators increasingly have to account for the sustainability performance of their own supply chain. Independently verified ratings make that easier. When EcoVadis rates a supplier and JAC audits it, the documentation already exists and nobody needs to recreate it for every tender or reporting cycle.
Two assessments from two different bodies, covering the same company, point in the same direction. That is the practical value of external review: it turns internal ambition into something a customer can check.
