Cable and termination box system for interconnecting optical links between RRU and the RBS in outdoor radio base applications .
The Fiber Termination Box is designed to handle up to 24 RRU systems with a pre-connected 48 fiber cable with LC connectors. In order to keep the fibers collected, they are organized in groups (4f / group) using adhesive tape applied on connectors/ fan out and in the middle of fan out. The tape is easy to remove.
On MU side, the fan out of the grouped connectors is stacked with a distance of 60 mm.
Cable entering the box is sealed with a plastic bushing.
FTTA Jumper cables to the RRUs, i.e. LCD-LCD, (LC(FullAXS)-LCD) are available as option. Length up to 10m of optical jumper cables can be handled within the box.
The Fiber Termination Box is made of UV-protective plastics, Polycarbonate (PC). The box is intended for mounting on poles up to Ø110 mm with hose clamps.
