Fiber Splicing Enclosure – Medium

This medium sized cabinet is intended for fiber splicing and termination of up to 96 microducts (subscribers). This is suitable when changing from distributed Air Blown Fiber to fiber optical cables, or to other ducts for further fiber blowing. There are two cabinet choices with different fiber organizers, depending on fiber division structure and splice position need (i.e. if space is required for PON splitters). The fiber organizers can handle 192 fibers (typically) depending on splice case, see table below for capacity and configuration details. The cabinet is also excellent for jointing cables to cables indoor.

The cabinet is designed for indoor use according to IP 45 but can be fitted conveniently in outdoor enclosures. It is designed for wall mounting, but also fits in 19” or ETSI racks. Cable / duct entrances are supplied with rubber gaskets. The cabinet is painted in coral white color and delivered with microduct and fiber organizers, fiber labels and 2 keys to the lockable doors.
