Job description

Our Product Managers have responsibility for all aspects of the product lifecycle, from cradle to grave, and as such, are a vital element of our continued success.

With detailed technical knowledge of optical telecom products, technologies, and associated applications, you will be driving the development of innovative, market-leading new products within our fiber optic connectivity portfolio.

Additionally, an ongoing requirement for legacy product support on both commercial and technical levels will ensure that every day is different in this fast-paced and exciting industry.

Proud of our ‘quick to market’ heritage for new products, Hexatronic is looking for dynamic Product Managers with a keen eye for detail and the ability to visualize and communicate new concepts to peers within the Engineering team and the customer base. You will own the internal project delivery process and drive projects forward to achieve targets and deliverables.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing products through insights from market research and customer interaction 
• Defining the key features, specifications, and requirements of the product, based technical application knowledge
• Establishing strategies for product pricing and positioning 
• Assisting with product launches and marketing campaigns 
• Conducting competitor research to understand the marketplace
• Performing profit analysis and forecasting to develop or improve product marketing strategies
• Creating project timelines and implementation schedules
• Identifying new opportunities and closing product gaps
• Maintenance of existing product portfolio, both commercially and technically
• Product evaluation and R&D

Your profile

• Proven experience in product management or related role
• Knowledge of every aspect of the product development life cycle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage and supervise multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams 
• Ability to drive product development and marketing strategies
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• In-depth technical knowledge of telecoms products, technologies, and applications
