Associate Solutions Manager – Hexatronic UK

As an Associate Solutions Manager, you will work closely with our Engineering, Product Management, Production and Marketing teams to deliver market-leading products and solutions to the global Optical Telecoms market.

Job description

Joining a well-established team of technical specialists, your key function will be the support of Solutions and Product Management projects as well as desk-based Technical Support coordination. The role will encompass a variety of workstreams, ranging from prototype product builds through to the creation of technical documentation and supporting marketing literature. The Solutions Management Team operates on a global scale, therefore on occasion, there may be a need to have a flexible approach to working hours, and time management skills will be critical.

On the job training and support from our subject matter experts will enable you to grow into this role, therefore attitude and aptitude will be of key importance. Commercial acumen is a pre-requisite, and the ability to consider challenges both holistically and in fine detail will allow you to problem solve and develop innovative solutions.

This role is office based at our UK headquarters in Gosport, Hampshire.

Responsibilities:

Including, but not limited to:

  • Tech support co-ordination and admin
  • Support for technical document creation & revision control (SOP’s, manuals, etc)
  • Support for marketing content creation & revision control
  • Support for building sample products for potential customers
  • Internal programme management
  • Internal database management
  • NPI, EC & NC support
  • Department KPI management

Your profile

  • Ideally educated to A level standards
  • Must be PC literate (MS Office)
  • Able to work from engineering drawings and technical data
  • Skilled in written and oral communication
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams
  • Positive attitude, keen to learn, ‘outside the box’ thinker
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Works to ‘right 1st time’ ethos
