As an OTDR, MaxTester can be excellent both for fiber to the home (FTTH), or projects with longer fiber distances where a higher dynamics second. Can also be configured to handle measurements on trafficked fiber, with a filtered 1625 nm port. Available as a pure multimode OTDR or combination unit with both single and multimode. In combination with iOLM, MaxTester and extremely competent OTDR will lift all your measurements to expert level.
The MaxTester 700D OTDR Series comes with a Swap-Out connector which can easily be changed, as and when needed, without having to send the test unit to a service center. This ensures optimal performance over time without undue maintenance costs and downtime. The OTDR's optical connector health can be checked with an onboard diagnostic tool to replace the connector only when necessary.
