Multi Dwelling Unit Wall Box

The MDU wall box is as a very compact, yet installer friendly, internal or external termination point for FTTH networks or similar with 24 or 48 customer capacity. The product is particularly well suited for air-blown concepts and standard microduct dimensions such as 7, 10 or 12mm. The product is approved according to the Material Concept of the Federal German Government for MDU’s.

To save installation time, simplify logistics and ordering, the MDU wall box is delivered as a complete kit with adapters and pigtails already fitted and all other required accessories included in one box.

The box is made of a robust plastic material with UV stable properties. The cover is hinged at the top and is secured to the

base with a lock.

Up to 24 holders for adapters are installed in the base which gives a capacity of 24 SC or LC-duplex adapters. In the lower area four inlet and outlet ports are implemented, which are delivered closed and can then be loaded with the needed pre-perforated seal sets (rubber grommets). The following seal sets are included: 1x Ø 10 mm, 2x Ø 7 mm, 3x 12x Ø 5 mm and 2x 24x up to Ø 3 mm.

It is also possible to install up to four PLC splitters in special clips (included) in the bottom plate.
