Installation Notes

To assemble the pullable SCA connector:

  • Remove the black cover by twisting and pulling free, holding the connector by the larger end of the boot.

(Never pull or push by the cable as this can damage or break the cable)

  • Remove the dust cap, taking care not to contaminate the end face.
  • Attach the white inner housing by aligning the opening on the top bevelled side with the two round indentations in the metal and pressing it firmly over the ferrule with the split open end facing towards the cable.
  • Reattach the dust cap and slide the green outer housing over the inner housing, ensuring to align the bevelled corners with the bevelled cutout on the connector.
  • Remove dust cap and insert into the through adaptor.
