The NDE 451 25 system is a straight duct joint closure for single way ruggedised microducts.

The duct joints are designed for quick and easy installation, minimizing time consuming civil works. When used in combination with the Hexatronic air blown cabling systems, minimum initial investments are required to provide a future proof network that is easy to expand, upgrade and maintain.

The design enables excellent mechanical protection and water tightness according to IP class 68. The duct joints are intended to be installed in manholes or direct buried. They are re-enterable for easy re-configuration/repair.

The duct joint closures comprise of a tube shaped body and two duct glands. The closures are suited to ruggedised 5/3.5mm and 7/3.5mm single way microducts.

The body is made of transparent polycarbonate. Cable sealing glands are made of thermoplastic elastomer TPE and cable straps of polyamide.

All materials are recyclable and in accordance with the RoHS directive.

Installation Notes To facilitate installation, low-friction lubricant is required. If applied sparsely, one bottle of lubricant is sufficient for moree than 100 duct joints. Lubricant is ordered separately.
